Tetbury Allotment Group

Since this group's first meeting a few months ago things have been gently moving forward. We've planted potatoes, sweet peas, onions (the rabbits made quite short work of these tasty morsels), sweet corn, herbs, kale and something that I thought was okra but may be something else entirely! The tomato plants are heavily laden having survived a dry start. It's going to be a slightly random but fun harvest! We have also planted a bed full of flowers which are a riot of colour and pleasure.

Amongst all of this some lovely friendships have been forged, tea and cake has been happily consumed and ideas, advice, laughter and general wisdom have all been shared.

I am so delighted to be part of this and look forward to more of the same.
